What will you do?

  • Draft:
    • Trust deeds
    • Deed of amendments
    • Supplementary trust deeds and all supporting documentation
    • Resolutions
    • Trust meeting agendas and minutes
    • Simple wills
  • Administration
    • Schedule appointments
    • Preparation of documentation for signature
    • Arrange and schedule boardroom bookings
    • General administration
  • Preparation of packs and supporting documentation for registration of trusts and reporting of estates at the Masters office and arranging with agent for collection
  • Support with the deceased estate administration process

What will make you successful in this role?

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of wills, estates and trusts in South Africa
  • Experience working within a Private Wealth environment / industry and or a legal background
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Qualification and experience

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent (a legal qualification would be advantageous)
  • Proven experience in a client-focused business environment
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Financial Service and/or Legal Industry will be advantageous

Knowledge and skills

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel). Advanced Excel would be an advantage
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of wills, estates and trusts in SA context
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong administration skills
