Assistant GPS Technician
- Installation of the GPS devices in vehicles.
- Conduct Checkup & Troubleshoot the problems for GPS devices not generating data
- Assist the Tracking team in the root cause analysis of reported issues.
- Highlight any device tampering issues to the Tracking supervisor, Unit head & Tracking team.
- Collect the configured tracking device with SIM Card and accessories from the Office.
- Get the job cards signed by Tracking supervisors & Unit heads and submit them to field coordinator/customer care.
- Inform the Control room & Technical team about the new installations and checkups details.
- Pass the installation information to the Tracking supervisor & Unit heads.
- Maintain the tool kits and inventory in a proper way.
- Maintain the inventory used for Installations and inform customer care
- Provide accurate information on the list of accessories used for installation/checkup.
- Provide proper information to Unit heads & Tracking team regarding vehicle inspections and checkups
- Provide training to the new and junior staff.
- GPS technician shall be flexible with work hours since most of the customers vehicles are available before or after office hours. If working late / early hours is required, that shall be compensated with a same number of hours permission on another day or additional incentive as per the discretion of the reporting officer.
- Shall practice flexibility to lend a hand wherever needed.
