Were looking for a skilled DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team of creators constantly raising the bar on user and customer experiences. Working behind the scenes, the ideal candidate has a unique blend of technical expertise and insatiable curiosity. Do you have a desire to develop, document, and learn about highly distributed, event-sourced systems, code infrastructure the same way as applications, and be able to spawn the entire system on your laptop? You will be responsible for:
- Developing multi-account, multi-regional infrastructure following regular development practices (tests, code-review, CI/CD)
- Taking part in all steps of building distributed systems - planning, developing, deploying and maintaining event sourced, microservices oriented systems
- Improving and further developing the current deployment pipeline (AWS CDK, Jenkins, AWS ECS)
- Monitoring and maintaining current infrastructure (AWS ECS on EC2)
- Improving developer experience on delivering new infrastructure components
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
The ideal candidate will have proven experience preferably in a technology company and/or in the healthcare industry, and is a creative thinker who thrives on owning the process from start to finish. Additionally, the candidate will have:
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS Cloud Formation or Terraform
- You have proven experience in software development, preferably with Java, Go or Javascript which is our current stack
- Knowledge of network and server side security principles
- Experience in specifying, documenting and presenting your technical proposals
- Knowledge of distributed messaging systems principles (Kafka, Pulsar) is a plus
- A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
- Fluency in English
