- Ensure all aspects of hotel maintenance and management are kept to the very best standards and in line with all relevant policies, procedures and health and safety procedures.
- Ensure the maintenance office is kept clean and safe at all times.
- Take care of hotels infrastructure (e.g. exterior and interior buildings, electricity, plumbing, kitchens, laundry, gardens and grounds, furniture, front of house, back of house).
- Manage maintenance personnel and plan various renovation and repair projects as identified in a timely manner.
- Organized and Proactive.
- Familiarity with electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems is essential, should also be committed to meeting health and safety standards.
- Ensure the hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike.
Flexible as this is a maintenance job, issues may crop up during night time and daytime.
USD 700 + A year end incentive bonus to reflect efficiencies made and equipment/electricity optimization will be provided on discretionary basis

Urgent Requirement A high school diploma or qualification. A college or university degree would be a bonus, but not essential Experience - ideally, at least two years in a senior maintenance position Proven experience as a Hotel Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor Fluency in English and a local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential Literate and tech-savvy - A good grasp reading, writing, basic maths and computer literate. Flexibility - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job. In-depth knowledge of all relevant health and safety regulations Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and HVAC systems; hotel industry experience is a plus Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly Problem-solving aptitude Excellent organizational and leadership skills Attention to detail, to maintain the standards and maintain a highly organized and clean and safe working environment for all |
