Waiter / Waitress Jobs Full-time Job

An Executive Restaurant in Kariakoo, Dar es Salaam is hiring experienced and customer-focused Waiters and Waitresses to join our service team. The ideal candidates will provide exceptional table service, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain the high hospitality standards of our fine dining restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables.

Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and serve meals according to restaurant standards.

Provide professional recommendations on menu items and specials.

Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and ready for guests.

Communicate orders to the kitchen and bar staff accurately.

Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

Process bills and handle payments when required.

Maintain a clean and organized dining area.

Follow all Tanzania food safety and hospitality regulations.

Requirements & Skills

Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Professional appearance, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Basic knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette.

Education & Experience

Certificate in Hospitality or Food & Beverage Service is an added advantage.

Minimum 1 year of waitstaff experience preferred.
