Key Responsibilities:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Activity
- Receive and dispatch food commodities as per approvals while adhering to food handling standards
- Food handling standards adhered too
- Ensure timely documentation/updating of all transactions into relevant EDP documents
- Documents are updated timely and accurately
- Ensure thorough cleanliness of the assigned store
- Undertake daily reconciliation
End Results
- Compile quality periodical reports timely
- Quality reports are produced and shared timely
- Participate in monthly Physical Inventory exercise
- PI produced timely
- Daily reconciliation done
- Acceptable hygienic level prevails at EDP
KNOWLEDGE/ QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
- One-year experience in working with humanitarian operations,
- Experience in handling commodities management
- Experience in working with refugee programs
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- Training in commodities management, and response training.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
- Degree in Accountant or Procurement
Travel and/or Work Environment
- Refugee camps
Physical Requirements
- Should be physically fit
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English and Swahili
