Job Requirement :
Seeking a highly experienced Workshop Manager specializing in heavy equipment, specifically Scania trucks, Howo trucks, and large machinery such as excavators. If you possess extensive knowledge in managing workshops, leading teams, and maintainingheavy equipment, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team!
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Vast experience (minimum 7 years) in managing workshops, preferably with a focus on Scania trucks, Howo trucks, and large machinery such as excavators.
Strong technical expertise and familiarity with maintenance and repair procedures for heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring smooth and efficient maintenance and repair activities.
Lead and manage a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring timely servicing and repairs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
Coordinate with procurement and inventory management teams to ensure the availability of spare parts and consumables.
Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify equipment issues, develop repair plans, and monitor repairs for quality and adherence to safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment history.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all workshop personnel.
Collaborate with equipment vendors and suppliers to stay updated on the latest technologies, maintenance procedures, and industry best practices.
Monitor and control workshop expenses, including budgeting, cost analysis, and vendor negotiations.
Required Skills:
Extensive experience and expertise in maintaining and repairing Scania trucks, Howo trucks, and large machinery such as excavators.
Strong knowledge of workshop management principles, including resource allocation, work scheduling, and performance evaluation.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a skilled workforce.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to diagnose complex equipment issues and develop effective repair strategies with industry safety regulations and practices, with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe work environment.
